In honour of National Breakfast Week I am going to have a look at the benefits of a fresh fruity breakfast and how it can drastically improve your health.
Fruit is the perfect breakfast – it wakes up the body and gives your metabolism a gentle nudge, rather than the two footed drop kick of a strong mug of coffee! Fruits that are high in vitamin C like oranges, grapefruit and kiwis help your body to burn fat for energy, whilst bananas help to stabilise your blood sugar and keep you feeling full for longer.
